July 2017 PetGiftBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $25 per month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift. Like other boxes, PetGiftBox does have a rewards program where you can earn points for free products and boxes. Also, every purchase helps feed 10 rescue pets!

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other home items.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petgiftbox.com

The items in the box:

This months theme: Get the Ball Rolling

1.) Catnip Garden Kitty Sprinkles Catnip Dispensing Toy:The cats like this when they are doing their crazies in the middle of the night. Watch out though, the cat nip sprinkles out of this toy and goes everywhere! So put in in an easy to sweep/vacuum room of the house.  $4.49

2.) Kitty Teeter Feeder: This is a product I definitely wanted the cats to try in order to have them "work" for their meal. Of course it did not go as planned. They will eat the kibble out of it if it is in the center, but will not work to get it out from around the edges. Hopefully one day I can get them interested in this as feeders like these are recommended to control cats weight.  $4.47

3.) Petstages Kitty Chew Wheel: My cats like to chew on this toy. It is a good toy for dental health so I try to get them interested in it as much as possible. $3.99

4.) Spot Lattice Balls: These are colorful plastic balls that make noise. This is the most used item from this box as Luke is obsessed with these balls and plays with them on a daily basis. We love getting ball toys! $1.72

Total Value: $14.67 The box value is a lot less than the cost of the box and much lower value than the box usually is. All of these prices are estimated though and the box probably could be worth a bit more since a lot of the toys were on a current sale. No treats in this months box so if those were included the price would be a little bit higher. Still overall a great box considering that all of the items are actually getting used around here. Plus you have to factor in shipping for these items since these are online prices (prices were not included on the info card this month).

Tree Hut Exfoliating Mud Mask Review

In my Splash Voxbox from Influenster I received the Tree Hut Exfoliating Mud Mask to test out and review.

I really loved this Exfoliating Mud Mask from Tree Hut. I love Charcoal masks, I feel they do a great job at cleansing pores and pulling out all the junk. This one smelled really nice and it was pretty fast to use- dried in about 10 minutes and easy to wash off with just warm water. Skin felt clean and refreshed after use!

I have heard of the Tree Hut brand before but am not sure if I have tried any of their products in the past. I love that is mask is free from parabans, formaldehyde donors, petroleum, phthalates, sulfates, DEA, and mineral oil. This product is made in the U.S.A!

You can check out the Tree Hut Exfoliating Mud Mask Product Page for more detailed information about the mask, and take a look around at their other products. The Hydrating Overnight Mask is next on my list to try.

I received a sample to test from Influenster but all opinions are my own. If you would like to check out what Influenster is about or sign up to receive free products to test out yourself: influenster.com

Influenster Splash VoxBox Review

I recently received a box of goodies complimentary from Influenster to review. Take a look at my unboxing video below to see what I got. Underneath the video is my review on all of the products I received. If you want me to send you an invite so you can sign up and get free products yourself please leave your email in the comments section below.

Great box filled with great items! See reviews below and check past posts for some more detailed reviews.

1.) Tree Hut's Exfoliating Mud Mask: $14.99 for 2.9oz  - I really loved this Exfoliating Mud Mask from Tree Hut. I love Charcoal masks, I feel they do a great job at cleansing pores and pulling out all the junk. This one smelled really nice and it was pretty fast to use- dried in about 10 minutes and easy to wash off with just warm water. Skin felt clean and refreshed after use!

2.) Nature's Origin Roll On: $6.99 - I liked the lavender scent and how easy it was to roll on. Sometimes with roll on products the ball does not move easily and it is a pain to apply the amount you want but the ball moved so gracefully with this roll on. I put it on my wrists and it absorbed quickly. The scent did help me relax and stress less but I was hoping to have better quality of sleep since lavender has been known for that but so far I have not seen that while using this product. Still worth using if you like the scent and want to calm down a bit.

3.) Mike and Ike Sour-Licious Zours: $1.39- I still prefer the regular Mike and Ike to these sour ones but these were still pretty good. They were sort of like sour patch kids where you only taste the sour at the first couple of chews and then after that they are sweet. Overall good flavors but my favorite one was the pink ones!

4.) Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink: $9.49 - I really love the color of the "Lover" shade. It is really a beautiful matte color and would go with just about any outfit/event you are going to. It does last on lips a long time, it does not even come off with a paper towel. That is the downfall of the product in my opinion. I love that it really lasts on lips but it was a HUGE pain to get off. The makeup remover wipes removed it a bit but also spread it around so it looks like you have monkey mouth, I had to use soap and water to get it off completely and after the hassle my lips hurt and needed chapstick. LOVE the color, but the staying power is TOO strong for a regular day for me. If I am going to an event then I would absolutely wear this though.

5.) Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Tapioca Dry Shampoo: $7 for 7oz - This dry shampoo smells so good! I did not even need to use perfume with this. It smelled like some type of brown sugar or baked good. I felt it also did help with volume so if you are looking for a volumizing dry shampoo than this is a good one.

6.) Sinful Colors #Pride Collection Featuring Era Istefi: $1.99 - I was skeptical at first on how this clear polish with sparkles would look on my nails but it deposited just the right amount of sparkle on my nails. Since it is clear you can not really see where it has chipped off so this could easily last on my nails about a month or so (going on week two right now) before needing to take it off.

I really enjoyed trying all the products in this box. It was a good mix of makeup and skincare items and was happy to get a candy item. I love when Influenster sends the boxes with a variety of brands to try and complete activities for.

If you have any further questions on any of the products listed above feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will do my best to answer them. Once again, if you want to sign up for Influenster to get free boxes leave your email below and I will send you an invite.

The items in the box:

This months theme: Kitty's London Adventure

1.) Petstages Big Ben Kicker:This type of toy is always a favorite among the cats. They love grabbing and kicking toys like this. $6.99

2.) Petstages Britain Kitten Value Pack: This is a 3 pack of toys and the cats love all of the toys included as 2/3 have cat nip in them. Their favorite one is the toy in shape of a tea bag.  $6.99

3.) Petsport Kitty Freak: Other than messing with the feather they have not played with this toy as much as the others yet, but I enjoy how cute it is since it is a lady bug. $5.88

4.) Petsport Catnip Balls: These are little tennis balls, they are supposed to smell like catnip but all I smell is new tennis ball smell. They are cute but my cats do not seem to want to play with them so we will probably donate these to a shelter as kittens would probably love these! $5.51

5.) Meowtinis Cat Treats: We have received these treats before and the cats really enjoy them. They are soft treats so they are easy to chew. $5.15

Total Value: $30.52 This box had a great assortment of items. My cats enjoyed most of the items and the value is over the cost of the box so this is another great box. My cats actually do get excited when these boxes come, they are all over them and smelling them until we open them!
