Review: Maple Holistics Argan Oil Shampoo & FREE SAMPLE

I recently was sent this Argan Oil Special Formula Shampoo from Maple Holistics.

I have never used an argan oil shampoo before but have heard a lot of great things about argan oil. The shampoo made my hair feel really soft and smooth and made my hair look shinier and livelier! I also noticed less frizz when using this shampoo. I really enjoyed the scent of this product also. It was a soft vanilla scent and smelled great both in the shower and on my hair for a while afterwards. The shampoo lathered very well which is pretty much a necessity for me. This is my new favorite shampoo and is one of my favorite beauty finds of 2017!

This argan oil shampoo contains six oils that are effective for hair and scalp health. Some of the benefits for using this shampoo are: preventing hair loss, making hair more manageable, nourishes the hair and scalp, and improving damaged hair.

All of their products are made in the USA and they strongly promote cruelty free advocacy. None of their products will ever contain ingredients that are tested on animals. If you purchase this shampoo through their website a $1 of each bottle sold will go to The National Coalition against Domestic Violence.

Maple Holistics is offering you a FREE SAMPLE of one of their products. They have tons to choose from, even pet shampoo! CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE SAMPLE FORM. Once you fill out the sample form you will get a confirmation email. In the confirmation email it will let you know how to enter a giveaway for a full size product also!

Right now this argan oil shampoo is on sale on the Maple Holistics website for $9.99 or you can purchase it on Amazon for $8.98.

October 2017 PetGiftBox Cat Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $25 per month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift. Like other boxes, PetGiftBox does have a rewards program where you can earn points for free products and boxes. Also, every purchase helps feed 10 rescue pets!

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other helpful pet supplies.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petgiftbox.com

The items in the box:

This months theme: Trick or Treat

1.) Crochet Kitty Bat Wand Toy: All three of my cats absolutely love this toy. It is a well made handmade etsy cat toy, and it is a fun toy for me to play with my cats with. It is also the perfect length (not too long or too short) to play with. $10

2.) Halloween Candy Corn Kicker: This toy was made from another etsy shop (Mauve Moose). This is a catnip filled kicker toy. It has feathers on top and the print of the toy is candy corn. My cats are obsessed with this since it is filled with catnip. They are non-stop licking it.  $6

3.) Petest Vibrating Kitty Toy: Unfortunately this toy broke as soon as I pulled on the string to make it vibrate. For this reason we can not really rate it in terms of cat use due to the fact that my cats can not use it. It is very cute though. I could not find a price on this toy so this is just an estimate. $8.99

4.) Ellie Baba Designs Spider Cat Teaser Toy: This toy is also from an etsy shop. My cats are in love with this toy also. They go crazy over the fact that it has legs (made from ribbon) and resembles a real spider. $6.00

5.) Vital Essentials Vital Cat Freeze Dried Ahi Tuna Treats: These treats are on the healthier side (compared to other treats like temptations) so obviously my cats noticed that. They still ate them though. They seemed to like the Tuna taste. I just hope due to the health factor that they will not get bored of them...time will tell. Size of the treats were perfect. $4.43

Total Value: $35.42 Price wise the cost of the products in the box is well over the cost of the box (even if the price of the vibrating toy ended up being less). Value wise the cost of this box is WELL worth it. My cats are obsessed with the wand toy, spider toy, and the kicker. It is a shame they can not use the vibrating toy but I feel like they are very happy with what they received. Treats are always welcomed around here also and with three cats one is typically always bound to enjoy them. The theme of the box was very cute and perfect for October and Halloween. All of the etsy toys are well made and are huge hits.

PetGiftBox supports America's Vet Dogs which is a non-profit organization that provides guide dogs for disabled veterans. These dogs also help PTSD patients at VA Hospitals. It is great to see a company that is helping the community.
