Website Review: FotoJet & DesignEvo

I have been playing around with the website FotoJet for about a month now and I am amazed at all the things you can do on the site. You can make many cards and invitations, such as Christmas Cards, Baby Shower Announcements, Thank you cards, etc. Here is an example of a Christmas card that my cats and I made (I had to get my cats approval before posting ;) you cat people understand!)

If that was not enough I also found that on the site you can create collages, edit photos, and even design Facebook and Instagram Posts and also headers that you can use for Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and more!

Most of these features are offered free at no charge but they do have advanced features and special designs available for FotoJet Plus members. Visit their Promotion Site to see the offers. Memberships are normally $59.88 for the year but right now (until January 2nd 2018) you can get a membership for $19.99 OR if you simply share a post on your social media you can get the membership for $14.99. You might be thinking a membership is a waste of money, but if you are one who likes to get lots of likes and comments on their social media posts than that might be worth the $15 spent for the year to get amazing features with the Plus membership. Membership includes: All advanced features, 600+ premium templates, 500+ premium resources, priority support services, and an ad free experience. Check out the site and if you love it as much as I do you will see the benefit.

Below is an example of a pre-made Facebook post on their site. You could use this post, if you like it, or you create your own. I know, for me personally, there have been tons of times where I have searched Google for a meme to fit what I was thinking or feeling in the moment and I could not find one that was fitting. Little did I know there was a site like this where I could CREATE my own!

Not a fan of that background? There are many you can choose from on the site. There are many free backgrounds available for this particular image, like the background above, but here is an example of a background included with the plus membership. Two clicks of a my mouse and I changed out the background!

The sky is really the limit! You can of course use your own photos but the site has so many options between stock photos, clip art, backgrounds, text options, and more!

And here is an example of an invitation!

If you are a blogger or if you are starting up a company they also have another website called, DesignEvo. DesignEvo allows you to make logos. DesignEvo is completely free, no memberships required but they do want you to share on your social media that you used their site! You can also just play around to make logos to put on T-Shirts or anything else you might want to put a logo on. Here is an example of a logo I made:
I am going to continue to use these sites for my blog and social media posts. Who knew that someone with little creativity, like myself, could easily make attractive posts. I am sure that I will get more likes and comments now that it is so easy to make something so attractive and eye catching!

Have questions? Let me know below. I did not receive any compensation for this post but did receive a membership upgrade to FotoJet Plus so I could let you know of all the great features.

Review: Maple Holistics Silk 18 Conditioner & FREE SAMPLE

I recently was sent this Silk 18 Conditioner from Maple Holistics.

My first impression of this conditioner was that I was so in love with the scent! This conditioner smells like Vanilla Cake. The texture of the conditioner was perfect and it was easy to rub into hair and rinse out. My hair was much more smoother and less frizzy than when I used my previous conditioner. Due to the scent and how it made my hair much less frizzy, this is my new favorite conditioner and I will continue to use it.

This conditioner got it's name because it includes 18 Silk Amino Acids. The conditioner claims to make your hair smooth, soft, and shiny no matter your hair type. I can say this worked well on my hair type which is usually thin, frizzy, and straight. This conditioner can be used by both men and women.

All of their products are made in the USA and they strongly promote cruelty free advocacy. None of their products will ever contain ingredients that are tested on animals. All of their products are free of sulfate and other harmful ingredients.

Maple Holistics is offering you a FREE SAMPLE of one of their products. They have tons to choose from, even pet shampoo! CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE SAMPLE FORM. Once you fill out the sample form you will get a confirmation email. In the confirmation email it will let you know how to enter a giveaway for a full size product also!

Right now this Silk 18 Conditioner is on sale on the Maple Holistics website for $8.00 or you can purchase it on Amazon for $9.95. Maple Holistics supports The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. For every bottle of Silk18 sold they will donated $1 to NCADV.

This product was sent to me from Maple Holistics for review purposes. All opinions are my own. I did not receive any compensation for this post.

Influenster Feast VoxBox Review

I recently received a box of goodies complimentary from Influenster to review. Take a look at my unboxing video below to see what I got. Underneath the video is my review on all of the products I received. If you want me to send you an invite so you can sign up and get free products yourself please leave your email in the comments section below.

Great box filled with great items! See reviews below and check past posts for some more detailed reviews.

1.) Arnott's Tim Tam Biscuits, Original: $3.79  - I have tried these before in the past but I previously tried the Dark Chocolate and these were the original milk chocolate ones. I really liked the milk chocolate taste. The cookies are layered with chocolate, a light biscuit cookie, and then a light layer of a cream inside. I really enjoyed these and would definitely purchase these ones over the Dark Chocolate in the future.

2.) French's Crispy Jalapenos: $3.99 - These are definitely something different that I would not think to purchase for myself. I liked them on top of tacos. They were the perfect crunch and were actually not too spicy considering they are made with real jalapenos. I am not a very adventurous cook so I probably would not make any other meals with these included but with tacos they add great extra flavor if you are looking to mix it up.

3.) Country Crock Buttery Sticks: $2.99- I can honestly say that this is my new favorite butter. It is hard to match the butter you get in restaurants but this is pretty much that good. Beyond the taste I also liked that these melted well on top of food and were easy to spread.

4.) Del Monte Fresh Cut Gold Sweet Whole Kernel Corn: $.99- I would not say the taste of this product was any different than other canned vegetables but what I liked about this product was that the can was easy to open. It had a pull tab, so no can opener required. The instructions were to cook it in the microwave and it only took a couple of minutes. Easy Breezy.

5.) Bigelow Tea: $3.29 - This was probably my least favorite item in the box. The flavors included were Ginger & Peach Herbal Tea and Lemon & Echinacea Herbal Tea. These were not terrible but the taste was a bit to herbal for me. I prefer simple but bold black teas like Lipton or English Breakfast. I would say out of the two my favorite was the Ginger & Peach.

This was a very interesting box. I have been a member Influenster for about 5 years now and I have never received an all food box. I have received many boxes that were either beauty products or a variety of items. This box was fun to be able to taste new things and have fun with recipes.

If you have any further questions on any of the products listed above feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will do my best to answer them. Once again, if you want to sign up for Influenster to get free boxes leave your email below and I will send you an invite.

November 2017 PetGiftBox Cat Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $25 per month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift. Like other boxes, PetGiftBox does have a rewards program where you can earn points for free products and boxes. Also, every purchase helps feed 10 rescue pets!

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other helpful pet supplies.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petgiftbox.com

The items in the box:

This months theme: Happy Thanksgiving!

1.) Ellie Baba Designs Turkey Leg Catnip Toy: My cats are absolutely obsessed with this toy. It is well made and easy for them to grab. The catnip scent is pretty strong and they bat this toy around like crazy. $5

2.) Sassycat Freeze Dried Turkey Treats: This is a great item to have in a Thanksgiving box. Two of my cats will eat these treats but do not prefer them over their regular Temptations. Vince will pretty much eat any treats though so he is happy with these. $4.59

3.) Mauve Moose Baguette Toy: My cats like this toy but it is not their first choice out of the box. They do like to kick this though their kicker toys are usually a bit bigger. When they try to kick this one they end up kicking themselves along with the toy. $6

4.) ComfyStyles Crazy Cranberries Felted Ball Toys: These toys are really small so I added them to one of their cardboard box toys that they can reach in the holes and bat them around and they seem to like them in there. When the toys get pulled out I just put them back in. $2.50

5.) Ellie Baba Designs Berry Pie Catnip Toy: I do not know if it is the shape or not but my cats have not really played with or even licked this toy yet. We will see if they start to use it after they get bored of the other toys. $6

6.) SPOT Cat Bernet Cork Teaser Wand: This is the winner of the box! My cats go so crazy when we play with this toy. We played with it so much the jingle bell already fell off so I need to reattach that as they lost a little interest once that fell off. $2.93

Total Value: $27.02 The total value of the box is still over the cost of the box but much lower than past boxes, but keep in mind that most of these products are handmade etsy products and are only sold online so there would be shipping charges that I did not factor into the total value. This was a great box. It was not as big of a hit as last months box but cats are obsessed with most of the toys, especially the Teaser Wand. The etsy toys that were included in last month and this months boxes are well made.

PetGiftBox supports America's Vet Dogs which is a non-profit organization that provides guide dogs for disabled veterans. These dogs also help PTSD patients at VA Hospitals. It is great to see a company that is helping the community.

To sign up go here: www.petgiftbox.com and do not forget to use coupon code "codyandkaci" to get 50% off your first box. (This code is now also good for http://sweetsgiftbox.com/ also)

PetGiftBox sent me a complimentary box for review. All opinions are my own and I do not recommend any products or services that I would not use myself. No other compensation was received.
