April 2016 PetGiftBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $18.99/month for a yearly subscription, $20.99/month for a 6 month subscription, $23.99/month for a 3 month subscription, or you can pay monthly and the cost is $28.99/month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift.

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other home items.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petgiftbox.com

The items in the box:

This months theme: Howdy Partner

1.) Multipet Boot Catnip Filled Toy: Anything filled with catnip is a hit in this house!  $2.99

2.) Multipet Hat Catnip Filled ToyAlso filled with catnip but this toy is not as easy for Kaci to grab as the Boot toy. $2.99

3.) From the Field “Chewy” the Hemp Rope: This rope is "marinated" inside of a bag filled with catnip so this is very strong and Kaci went crazy for this! This is Kaci's favorite item in the box. $2.99

4.) Pet Gift Box Cowboy Crunch Treats: Kaci has a small mouth and these treats were on the larger side so she was not a fan of these.

5.) Petgreens Medley Self Grow Pet Grass: We got a bag of grass to grow like this in a box last year. We will try it again and see how much Kaci eats of it. It really depends on her mood on any given day, lol.  $3.99

Total Value: $20+ depends on the value of the treats, they were a large bag.

Kaci really enjoyed this box! The only thing she did not like are the treats but she enjoyed all of the catnip toys! We will also be trying out the grass so hopefully that will be a nice treat for her. The biggest hit in the box was the Chewy the Hemp Rope! The value of the box may be off since there were no prices listed on the info card so the prices are guesstimates based on web searches. I would have not found and picked up that item while out shopping so these boxes are worth the investment.

PetGiftBox supports America's Vet Dogs which is a non-profit organization that provides guide dogs for disabled veterans. These dogs also help PTSD patients at VA Hospitals. It is great to see a company that is helping the community.

To sign up go here: www.petgiftbox.com and do not forget to use coupon code "codyandkaci" to get 25% off your first box.

PetGiftBox sent me a complimentary box for review. All opinions are my own and I do not recommend any products or services that I would not use myself. No other compensation was received.

St. Ives Body Scrub and Body Lotion Review

Influenster sent me the St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Body Scrub and the St. Ives Refresh & Revive Pear Nectar & Soy Body Lotion to test out.

I love my bath products to have fruity scents so this is the perfect paring for me! The Body Scrub worked well at making my skin smooth but also did not irritate my skin in any way. I loved the Apricot smell and it was quick and easy to use in the shower. I liked that the Body Lotion was non-greasy, rubbed in easily, and the fresh but subtle Pear smell was great! Both products helped keep my skin moisturized.

I have always known of the St. Ives brand but it was never one I was particularly drawn to. I am sure I have used it in the past when I was a kid but I have not purchased it as an adult. Now I will since I had an amazing experience with both products. These products only cost around $5 at Target and look to be even cheaper if you purchase on Jet.com with apparently is the up-and-coming Amazon competition!

You can check out the St. Ives product page for more detailed information. All St. Ives products are made with 100% natural exfoliants and are paraben-free, hypo-allergenic and are dermatologist tested.

I received a sample to test from Influenster but all opinions are my own. If you would like to check out what Influenster is about or sign up to receive free products to test out yourself: influenster.com
