February2019 PetBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! PetBox is from TheGiftBox family and is formerly known as PetGiftBox. The cost varies on your subscription. A one time box costs $34.99, a month to month subscription is $29.99 per box, and a 12 month subscription is $24.99 per box. You are able to skip a month at anytime if you prefer not to receive a box that month.

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetBox team, actress Jennie Garth helps curate the boxes.  The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other pet items. Each box has a different theme and is customized to your preference profile.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'PECORA' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petbox.com

The items in the box:

This months theme: Fabulous Flamingos

1.) Imperial Cat Cat 'n around Teaser wand Cat Tail:According to Luke and Kaci this is hands down the best item in the box. They love when I have them chase this toy back and forth. Due to claws and overall use some of the feathers have come off. I could not find this product online which is unfortunate since I will be in big trouble if the cats want a new one and I can not get it for them! $5.99 (based on similar items)

2.) Our Pets FlamingoThis Flamingo toy makes a squawking noise and it sounds pretty real to me. My cats love the noise and love to chase this back and forth. It it pretty sensitive which is nice because it makes a noise even with the slightest touch of a paw which makes it more real like!  $6.99

3.) Small "Flamingo Egg" Balls: These are small with no scent (when you order there is an option for a catnip scent). I get nervous giving my cats such small balls like these ones. This is me being overprotective. However, these size balls I put into their cardboard box grass toy and they can stick their paws through and bat them! $2.50 set of three ($5 for a six pack)

4.) Imperial Cat Flamingo Catnip Kicker: This is a catnip filled toy. My cats love rubbing their face on it! I could not find this particular product online.  $9.99 (based on similar items)

5.) Caru Salmon Baked Bites: My cats found these to be quite delicious and easy to chew! They are made in USA with high quality ingredients! $7.44

Total Value: $32.91 This box was a huge hit with the cats. They enjoyed the treats and found a few new favorite toys! The value of the box is an estimate as some items were hard to find online. As always PetBox did a great job at curating the box, finding high quality items, and sticking closely to the theme.

Here are some cat photos:

Every month a portion of sales is donated to an animal charity. This month 10% of proceeds were given to Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs

Review: Maple Holistics Silk 18 Shampoo

I recently was sent this Silk 18 Shampoo from Maple Holistics.

I was already familiar with the Silk 18 Conditioner since I have tried it in the past (see that review here) so given my great experience with that product I was excited to see how the Silk 18 Shampoo performed.

The shampoo smelled just as amazing as the conditioner does: like vanilla cake! I was pleased at how well it lathered and made my hair feel smooth and clean. After 3 weeks of using this shampoo I have already started to see my hair has more moisture and less split ends. If you also have damaged hair make sure to read this article for possible causes and how to make your hair healthier.

These shampoo and conditioner products got their name because they includes 18 Silk Amino Acids. The shampoo claims to strengthen hair to protect from dryness, split ends, damage, and hair fall. These products can be used by both men and women.

I love Maple Holistics products and what they stand for. All of their products are made in the USA and they strongly promote cruelty free advocacy. None of their products will ever contain ingredients that are tested on animals. All of their products are free of sulfate and other harmful ingredients.

Maple Holistics often has giveaways on their social media accounts so make sure to follow them and enter for a chance to win! They are on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as @mapleholistics.

Right now this Silk 18 Shampoo is on sale on the Maple Holistics website for $12.95 for the 10oz or you can purchase it on Amazon as well. There are also 8oz and 16oz bottle options available.

This product was sent to me from Maple Holistics for review purposes. All opinions are my own. I did not receive any compensation for this post.
