Influenster e.l.f VoxBox Review

I recently received a box of goodies complimentary from Influenster to review. Take a look below to see what I got and my review on the products. If you want me to send you an invite so you can sign up and get free products yourself please leave your email in the comments section below.

1.) Hydrating Bubble Mask: $14 - The mask worked really well at making skin feel clean and moisturized. To dispense the product you push on the top of the container- less is more when doing this! I kept pushing because it seemed like so little was coming out but then a lot came out. I suggest using a little amount and then adding more if needed. I ended up wasting a bit but this was my first time using a dispenser like this. Also, flipping it over and pushing makes the product come out faster so that is up to you to decide to do it that way or upright. When using the product it begins to bubble almost immediately after applying. It feels weird like there are little bugs on your face (ew, bad analogy, but that is how I imagine it to feel) and it sounds like rice crispy treats lol. I loved the scent the mask gave off. When applying the mask it went on white but as it bubbled it turned clear and looked like it disappeared. When taking it off it was easy to remove it a quick go- it was not like other masks where it sort of spreads even more. Overall afterwards my face felt very clean and baby skin soft. I found this mask to work just as well as other masks that cost 4x the cost so this is my new go to.

2.) Mineral Infused Primer: $6 - I am in love with this primer. It is definitely one of my new favorite products. It is affordable and works like a high end primer. The primer is easy to pump out of the package and it is easy to blend to cover all areas needed. I can see a difference in both my makeup lasting all day and not rubbing off as well as my makeup not caking up at all. CVS had a really good extra buck deal on e.l.f products so I already picked up 2 of these.

3.) Lip Exfoliator: $3- This exfoliator worked great for my lips. It smelled minty and had a nice texture like sugar. It was easy to apply thanks to be in a lipstick form and it was easy to rub off after using. My lips were definitely softer and it helped improve the longevity of my lip color and also prevented that cracking look.

4.) Matte Lip Color: $3 - I received the wine shade and I thought it was the perfect color for this time of year. It was a true red wine (almost maroon) looking color. I used it after using the lip exfoliator and it stayed on even through drinking and eating. I was impressed with how well the product worked considering its low cost.

5.) Baked Highlighter & Bronzer: $4 - I am all about shortening my beauty routine, when possible, and this product helped. This product has a highlighter and bronzer in one package and you just swirl your blush brush with the two together and apply it. I liked the little bit of highlight that it gave me and how the bronzer made my cheek bones stick out a bit more.

I always knew of the e.l.f brand but it was never my go-to drugstore brand as I thought it was more of a cheaper brand for younger girls. After using these products I was proven wrong. These products perform just as well as any drugstore brand even though those products are double the price. I did not have a bad experience with any of the products but the hero of the box, for me, has to be the Primer as I was looking for an affordable primer. Paying $20 for a primer was not working for me anymore so I am glad that I found one that worked just as well for less than half the price.

If you have any further questions on any of the products listed above feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will do my best to answer them. Once again, if you want to sign up for Influenster to get free boxes leave your email below and I will send you an invite.

December 2016 SweetsGiftBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

From the makers of PetGiftBox, SweetsGiftBox is a monthly treat subscription box that includes sweets like gourmet cookies and chocolates and artisan candies and treats. Each box contains 4-5 goodies. This is a new subscription box and the first box ships in December. You can sign up for a one time box or a month to month subscription at www.sweetsgiftbox.com.  A one time box costs $30 and a month to month subscription (you can cancel any time) costs $25 per box.

If you want to try this out for yourself you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.sweetsgiftbox.com

The items in the box:

This months theme: Taste The Season

1.) Fatty Sundays Chocolate Covered Pretzels & Peppermint:I am a huge chocolate covered pretzel fan and I love peppermint so these were hands down my favorite item and needless to say they are all gone already. They came with 5 in the box. You need to eat these over a dish since they were super messy with crumbs everywhere, but the messier the tastier- am I right?! $7

2.) Salem Baking Co. Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies: These are so good! They are chocolate chip cookies with a hint of Caramel and Sea salt. They are crunchy cookies but were not hard nor soft. They were the perfect medium for chewing. $5.99

3.) Funky Chunky Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn: I am a huge popcorn person! I love any type of Popcorn. This mix was so good. It is popcorn topped with chocolate, caramel, cashews, and sea salt. I am not going to lie the caramel does get stuck in your teeth but it tastes oh so delicious. If you have ever tried Harry & David's Moose Munch it is similar to that. $3.50

4.) Shriver's Peppermint Salt Water Taffy: I am not a taffy person, but that is okay as I can use these to throw into someone's Christmas stocking. Sometimes it is worth getting things in subscription boxes that you do not personally want since you can add them to gifts! They included 5 of these. I am not sure of the value since Taffy is charged per pound it seems like. $?

5.) Madyson's Marshmallows Hot Cocoa Cane: We are not coffee drinkers so we drink a lot of tea and hot chocolate! The package was not clear on how much hot chocolate to use so I did two heaping tablespoons and it was perfect. I also cut the marshmallows in half as they only gave us 2 huge marshmallows and the mix would make more than 2 cups. Even though this is a hot chocolate set the company's main product is their marshmallows and boy are they soo good! It really added a lot of flavor to the hot cocoa. $6.65 (sold as a set of 3 for $19.95)

Total Value: $23.14+ This value does not include the Taffy since I personally do not know the value of that and the info card does not list prices. However, as you can see the value of the box is pretty close, if not exceeding, the cost of the monthly subscription. The cost is so worth it if you like to try out new treats or like to gift treats and make gift baskets as gifts like I do. The value is on par if not better than other food subscription boxes out there. Like I said this is their first box as this is a new subscription service. I think they nailed it and the treats included were perfect for December. I am excited to see how they continue to grow.

November 2016 PetGiftBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $18.99/month for a yearly subscription, $20.99/month for a 6 month subscription, $23.99/month for a 3 month subscription, or you can pay monthly and the cost is $28.99/month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift.

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other home items.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 50% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petgiftbox.com

Luke wants first dibs on the box!

The items in the box:

This months theme: Giving Thanks

1.) Thanksgiving Turkey Toy:All three of my cats absolutely love playing with this toy. My cats are 1, 4, and 9 so this is a fun toy for all ages! The fact that it looks so real and has feathers that move when you wave it around attracts the cats. This is our big hit in the box. $10-$15

2.) + 3.) Presidential Parody Cat Toy (Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton): I am grouping these 2 items together in the review since they are pretty much the same even though they are two separate toys. I think they are so funny! They have cat nap inside of them so the cats love to lick and lay on them. For some reason Hilary is more desired by the cats. Maybe they do not like trumps hair lol. $9.99 each

4.)Pet House Car Freshener in Pumpkin Spice: This cute air freshener is in the shape of a paw. The Pumpkin Spice scent is perfect for this time of year. I love how they sometimes include things for the person inside this box. It is a nice treat since it does not happen in each months box. I have not opened this yet since I am unsure if I want to keep it for myself or gift it since it is an awesome stocking or gift basket stuffer! $2.99

Total Value: $32.97-$37.97 Like last month's box this box only included 4 items (they promise 4-6). In the past couple months they have not included any cat treats so if they threw them inside this box it would have been a nice rounded out box at 5 items. However, this box included one of our favorite items ever featured in a PetGiftBox - the turkey toy! - so overall we are happy with the box.

Note* They accidentally included a dog info card instead of a cat info card in the box so values/exact names of product may be off this month.

PetGiftBox supports America's Vet Dogs which is a non-profit organization that provides guide dogs for disabled veterans. These dogs also help PTSD patients at VA Hospitals. It is great to see a company that is helping the community.
