December 2015 Popsugar Must Have Box Review & Unboxing!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

The Popsugar Must Have Box is a subscription box which costs $39.99 per month, BUT all the products you get are full size and the boxes are always worth more than $100! If you love getting surprises than this box is for you!

The items in the box:

1.) Luv AJ The Rose Gold Ombre Bracelet: This bracelet is very pretty color wise but I just do not like the chain look and how it looks on me. It's a shame when I dislike the big ticket item in the box. Value: $65

2.) Stowaway Cosmetics Creme Lipstick Trio: I love these little lipsticks. They are very creamy and the colors are bold and beautiful. Value: $30

3.) Nima Oberoi Lunares Geo Stopper: Even though a wine stopper does not excite me since I do not drink wine it was still a great addition to the box this time of year. I ended up giving it as an add on gift with a bottle of wine. $24

4.) Swing Design Nova Blue Mist Jewelry Box: This is such a cute box. It is empty inside (no ring slots or anything) so technically this could be used for anything it does not have to be jewelry. I have not decided how or where I will use this yet but I will be keeping it for myself. $36

5.) My Cup of Cake Classic Belgian Chocolate: I am so happy that this is the food item this month. Sometimes they give healthy but disgusting options so I was excited to see a delicious indulgence. I recently had my wisdom teeth out so I have not tried it out yet but I will be trying it out soon! $5.99

6.) Meri Meri Silver Stars on White Glitter Tape: Not the most exciting thing to get in the box. I did not end up using it for gifts this year so I will be holding on to it. $4

7.) Tiny Prints Gift Tag Stickers: This is the special extra. I was happy to get these since I am always in need of gift tags. I just bought a whole bunch though so did not end up using these. They are not Christmas oriented at all so they can be used throughout the year. They also included a $20 Promo Card with this but it does not cover shipping so I am not counting it as an item or extra in the box.

Though it was better than Novembers box I do not feel like the December box lived up to its potential. They have the opportunity to give a great box packed with stuff (even if it is items of lesser value) for the holidays. December's boxes never seem to be jam packed though they have had some jam packed ones in previous years and months.

Total value of the box: $164.99 (plus the Gift tags, price not included on card)

December 2015 PetGiftBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $18.99/month for a yearly subscription, $20.99/month for a 6 month subscription, $23.99/month for a 3 month subscription, or you can pay monthly and the cost is $28.99/month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift.

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other home items.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 25% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit www.petgiftbox.com

Lots of toys this month!

The items in the box:

This months theme: Season's Greetings & Happy New Year!

1.) Winter Katz Kickerz: This is a pretty big toy. My cats usually like to kick these but it seems as if they do not smell the catnip in this one for some reason. I am going to try and rub it in some cat nip to see if they like it then. $14.99

2.) Temptations Snacky Snowman Toy & Treats: My cats love these Temptations Treats! They could care less getting it out of the snowman though--too much work! If I take the cover off the snowman and leave them in there they will grab them during the night but as far as knocking them out themselves they are too lazy. $13.79

3.) Holiday Fur All Scented Candle: I like that they included something for me to keep the household smelling nice! The candle is a mixture of classic holiday scents like fir needles, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. It definitely helps to light this after one of the cats uses the bathroom! $3.49

4.) Stocking Full of Joy: There are lots of toys in this stocking and it is so cute that they included a stocking like this in the December box. My cats are fans of most of the toys in the stocking. They love the mouse, the pom pom ball, and the soft ball the most. It has only been a few days and most of the toys are lost at this point so I will have to go hunting for them! $9.99

Total Value: $42.26 This is over double the cost of the box if you sign up for a yearly subscription!

I love the selection of items this month! There were lots of toys for the cats which is what the Holiday's are all about. I wish they included a bit bigger of a treat bag but that is okay since we still have some left over from last months box where we got two big bags! I like that the boxes sometimes include household items for me as well! Overall another great box!

PetGiftBox supports America's Vet Dogs which is a non-profit organization that provides guide dogs for disabled veterans. These dogs also help PTSD patients at VA Hospitals. It is great to see a company that is helping the community.

PetGiftBox sent me a complimentary box for review. All opinions are my own and I do not recommend any products or services that I would not use myself. No other compensation was received.

December 2015 Birchbox Review & Unboxing!

View my Unboxing Video and then come back and read my post :)

Overall thoughts: I give this box a rating of 4/5. All items I will use or gift. I am happy with the selection and even though I prefer not to get perfumes I do like the scent of this one.

Inside the box is:

1.) Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Tinted Primer | I love this brand as it is and this is a great product on top of that. It makes your lashes look longer and can be used alone. If you want additional volume just add mascara on top. Full size, $24

2.) Coastal Scents styleEyes Eyeshadow Palette-socialEYES | I chose this as my sample choice. The email said that everyone would get one of these in their box so I decided to at least choose my color. I chose the green and gold colors and I got compliments when wearing it. Not much fallout and no creasing.  Full size, $12

3.) Dear Clark Volumizing Tonic | I ended up gifting this in a stocking since I am not much for these types of hair products. Full Size, $26

4.)  Juara Coconut Illipe Hand & Nail Balm | This works great at moisturizing both your hands and your cuticles. I also love the smell too. If you like the smell of Pina Coladas you will like the smell. Full Size, $20

5.)  Kate Spade Walk on AirI do like the smell of this perfume. It is a mix between fresh, floral, and sweet. I like that it came as a spray as well. Full Size, $25-95

Is this box worth $10: Yes. The primer alone is worth the cost of the box.
Is this box worth my $10No. I gave this box a rating of 4/5 because it is on par with most Birchboxes. For me though I would not have went out to purchase any of these items so had I known the contents beforehand I would have not bought the box.

Disclaimer: These opinions are my own and I was not asked, nor do I get compensation, to review the box or these items.

Review: Dove Nourished Beauty Dry Spray Antiperspirant

I received a bottle of the Dove Nourished Beauty Dry Spray Antiperspirant from Influenster.

I love how well this antiperspirant works. It sprays on dry and kept me dry all throughout my work day. It also had a nice smell which was also light and not overwhelming. I usually use a clear gel but honestly I like the dry spray just as much.

Dove has a few different Dry Spray's which all have different scents and benefits. I am looking forward to trying the Clear Tone Skin Renew Dry Spray and the Soothing Chamomile Dry Spray next.

Influenster was also nice enough to send me a bottle of the Dove Men & Care Clean Comfort Antiperspirant/deodorant which will be going in my boyfriend's Christmas stocking.

Check out the Dove website for more information! You can also check them out online on FacebookPinterest, and Twitter.

I received a sample to test from Influenster but all opinions are my own. If you would like to check out what Influenster is about or sign up to receive free products to test out yourself: influenster.com

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review

I reviewed Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops back in early 2014 (click here if you want to read that post) but I am writing another more updated review on them since they have added a new flavor since then.

Their flavors include Wild Cherry, Natural Honey, Licorice, and the most recently added flavor, Lemon Citrus. I am very happy they added this flavor to the line as this is my second favorite flavor (with the Wild Cherry being first choice). All flavors taste genuine but I am not a huge Licorice fan so I can not really rant or rave on that flavor. I will be adding the Licorice flavor to my dads stocking this year as he loves Licorice.

I love the texture of these drops and I like that they do not have any sort of medicinal taste to them as that usually turns me off. These drops are competitively priced as well (they are $4 at Walgreens)

The Pine Bros Softish Drops are Gluten Free, All Natural, Vegan, and contain only 5 calories per drop. They can be found in the cough drop aisle and are available at most retailers however these are not cough drops. The drops contain no medicine and the main ingredient is glycerin. The drops help sooth throats and help relieve dry mouth. If you are in a field (such as customer service) where you are talking all day long then these will be perfect for you.

Be sure to check out their website to find out where to find them in your area or to find out further information.

I received free samples of this product to write this review but all opinions are my own.
