January 2016 PetGiftBox Review & [COUPON CODE]!!

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, your pet! They offer a cat box (which is the one I am reviewing) and they also offer a dog box (which has 3 selections based on the size of your dog). The boxes cost $18.99/month for a yearly subscription, $20.99/month for a 6 month subscription, $23.99/month for a 3 month subscription, or you can pay monthly and the cost is $28.99/month. You can also purchase a one time box if you would like to send one as a gift.

Each box contains between 4 and 6 items that are hand picked by the PetGiftBox team. The items in the box can include treats, toys, and other home items.

My cats love getting these boxes! It is a nice treat for them to get some new toys and goodies!

If you want to get your own box for your pet you can use the coupon code 'codyandkaci' at checkout to get 25% off your first box! To sign up or find out more info visit

A mix of items this month!

The items in the box:

This months theme: Tail-Gate Party!

1.) NFL Catnip Toy: This is a cute small toy that is also soft so it is a hit! (Hard toys are usually not as popular) It says it is filled with catnip also. Kaci loves playing with it but does not go crazy so I am not sure if she notices the catnip or not. $11.99

2.) Tailgating Treats: These are made from 100% beef lung. Unfortunately these are way too big for my kitty to eat and they are too hard for me to break apart (Picture below). $8.99

3.) Remarkabowl: This is a super cute small bowl! We do not need any new bowls at the moment so I am actually going to use this at a superbowl party instead! $12.49

4.) Catnip Pom Poms: We love Pom Pom balls. These would be the hot item in the box for us but I had to throw them away since there were a lot of hard pieces sticking out of them and could hurt my cat had she played with them. It could have been long pieces of catnip but nonetheless I would rather be safe then sorry. All 4 balls had the hard pieces. $3.99

5.) Kitty Purry: This is a fun toy because it has feathers and a bell! There is also a loud squeky ball inside of it but she plays lightly with the toy so that (luckily for me) barely makes any noise. $3.99

Total Value: $41.45 This is over double the cost of the box if you sign up for a yearly subscription!

Because of the large hard treats and the pom pom balls having hard pieces inside of them I can not rate this as one of our favorite boxes. However we liked the other toys in the box and I like the bowl for me (lol!). We look forward to what the February box brings us!

PetGiftBox supports America's Vet Dogs which is a non-profit organization that provides guide dogs for disabled veterans. These dogs also help PTSD patients at VA Hospitals. It is great to see a company that is helping the community.

PetGiftBox sent me a complimentary box for review. All opinions are my own and I do not recommend any products or services that I would not use myself. No other compensation was received.
