March 2015 Birchbox Review & Unboxing!

View my Unboxing Video and then come back and read my post :)

Overall thoughts: I give this box a rating of 5/5. They gave great products this month and most products are actually deluxe sized!

Inside the box is:

1.) It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product | I chose this as my sample choice. I love the product. It is great for detangling and does not smell bad. However, I still prefer the Beauty Protector leave in conditioner because I am in love with that smell so I probably will not purchase this one over that one unless there is a great sale! Full size, $18

2.) Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter Highlighter | This looks like a nail polish but it is not! I am actually happier this is not a nail polish just because I do not have a highlighter like this. Works pretty well but not one I would run out and buy. Full size, $14

3.) Michael Todd Moisture Lite Lotion Non-Oily Hydrating Moisturizer | Great brand and great product. I love that they gave us a deluxe size to actually see how well we like the product. Keeps my skin moisturized without feeling greasy! Full Size, $29

4.)  Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge- Sydney | I am not sure if this is full size or not but it is at the very least a very deluxe size sample. I love the color and the wear and will use and purchase this brand in the future! Full Size, $29

5.)  Paula's Choice Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster | Sadly the product is only half the size of the box so I can not tell how well it works in the long term. In the short term however I love it! It keeps my skin super smooth, soft, and reduces redness. For that reason I want to purchase this or at least another product from this brand in the future. Full Size, $35

Is this box worth $10: Yes. Four out of the five products are deluxe size and therefore the box is worth way more than $10.
Is this box worth my $10Yes. I am using all of the items and loving them!

Review: Arvazallia Advanced Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner, and Argon Oil Hair Mask

I was recently sent the Arvazallia Advanced Hair Care system for review. I love trying new Beauty Products so I could not wait to test this line out!

These products are designed to help repair hair that is damaged from heat styling, chemicals, and coloring and they all include Argon Oil and Macadamia Oil.

Personally, I can not tell if these products do improve the condition of your hair or not BUT I can tell that my hair is shinier and has a little more bounce to it than it did before using so it must have helped somehow.

Both the shampoo and the conditioner smell amazing but if you want a lot of lather you must use a lot of this shampoo. Using only a quarter size does not lather as well as other shampoos that I have tried. However, I do love that the shampoo is sulfate free and paraben free. The less chemicals the better!

I felt that the mask really nourished by hair and even though it was thick it was easy to rinse out!

For me the price is a little steep to purchase at this time, $17.99 each for the shampoo and the conditioner and $16.99 for the hair mask. All prices include free shipping if you are an Amazon prime member. If you are not on a strict budget for Beauty products I highly suggest checking this line out.

As always if you have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer. You can also check out their website for further information.

March 2015 Popsugar Must Have Box Review & Unboxing

Please watch my unboxing video and then come back and read this post :)

The Popsugar Must Have Box is a subscription box which costs $39.99 per month, BUT all the products you get are full size and the boxes are always worth more than $100! If you love getting surprises than this box is for you!

The items in the box:

1.) Bliss Micromagic Microdermabrasion Treatment: I love getting skincare products so getting this in the box was great for me! They have also not had a scrub like this in the box before so that is cool! Value: $48

2.) Greenmarket Purveying Co. The Archivist Lemon+Cucumber Reed Diffuser Kit: Usually I do not use diffusers so I was planning on giving this away but it smells so good (you can smell it without it being open) and I love the lemon scent so I am keeping it! Value: $20

3.) Samudra Pink Pina Zip Pouch: This is a pouch for the beach and pool that is made of plastic so your items do not get wet. Honestly, I bring a bag and traveled for most of my childhood (not so much anymore) and never had a problem with my stuff getting wet so this is completely unnecessary for me. Also, for them to claim this is a $40 item kind of makes me mad since they could have included something else. $40

4.) Knock Knock What to Pack Pad: This is cute but totally unnecessary for me once again since I no longer travel. Even so with this day in age you can download an app or a computer document that would do the same thing. Just a waste of paper and space for me. $7

5.) Wet Brush The Squirt: We received a full size Wet Brush in a previous box (this is a mini brush). I did like the brush so I will be keeping and using this one. I am not upset that they repeated this brand since I will once again get use of it. It is very gentle on the hair! $4.99

6.) Halfpops Halfpopped Popcorn: I love Popcorn though this does not really taste like popcorn for those who do not. It was a nice treat even though the bag was tiny. $1.69

7.) Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara & POREfessional: These are two small samples. I am always happy to get Benefit cosmetics, though since the food item was small I wish at least one of these items was full sized. Nonetheless they will get used. Price Unknown, sample sizes.

So far this year January was great. February and March had a few good items but both boxes did not impress me like other Popsugar boxes. Also the values seem to be getting lower so hopefully this is just a fluke. I will not unsubscribe because I usually love these boxes so hopefully April will be great!

Total value of the box: $121.68 (not including the 2 small benefit samples)

Influenster XO VoxBox Review

I recently received a box of goodies complimentary from Influenster to review. Take a look at my unboxing video below to see what I got. Underneath the video is my review on all of the products I received. If you want me to send you an invite so you can sign up and get free products yourself please leave your email in the comments section below.

Great box filled with great items! See reviews below and check past posts for some more detailed reviews.

1.) Adore Me:  - We received an email to sign up for Adore Me before the box was sent so we could get some lingerie before Valentines Day. The lingerie is super cute, well made, and affordable. Check out my detailed blog post for more information.

2.) Tide Pods plus Febreze: $4.99/12 Count - I already loved Tide Pods but I love the scent that Febreze added and how long it lasted on my clothes after washing. I have a detailed blog post on this product detailing more information.

3.) Skinfix Hand Repair Cream: $10 for 1 oz- I thought that this cream was super expensive for what it is worth. I do not have Eczema or any other skin issues I just get dry skin in the winter. I liked the product but not enough that I would pay this much for it. Plus, I disliked the smell.

4.) Colgate Optic White Toothbrush with whitening pen: $14.99 - This is a great toothbrush that I have tried in the past! It does a great job reaching and cleaning your teeth and the whitening pen does a great job whitening. I also always see coupons in the newspaper for this product so you can get a deal on it often! My only concern was when I put the brush in a cup the excess water for the brush head leaked down as it normally does but it seemed to gunk up where the whitening pen comes apart. Therefore, I keep this brush laying down.

5.) Colgate Optic White Express White Toothpaste: $3.99-4.99 - I loved this toothpaste! I have used the original optic white toothpaste in the past but felt that this one does do a much better job at keeping teeth clean and therefore whiter. I will continue to use.

6.) John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Collection: $9.99 - I have always been a fan of Frizz Ease and I love this new collection. Hair is so easy to brush through when using all three products (Shampoo, Conditioner, and primer) together.

7.) Lands End: Influenster also sent out a gift code for $25 off a $100 purchase at Landsend.com. I am recently unemployed so I did not have enough disposable income to purchase clothes and take a part of this deal. I did post the link on social media so I hope some of you got some great deals!

Overall this was a great box. I felt that this box was more focused on the web than some other boxes but I am okay with that.

If you have any further questions on any of the products listed above feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will do my best to answer them. Once again, if you want to sign up for Influenster to get free boxes leave your email below and I will send you an invite.

Tide PODS Plus Febreze Review

I have always been a Tide Girl. I have tried other detergent brands but always go back to Tide since it works best at making clothes look and smell clean. Even though Tide may be more expensive than other brands I would rather my clothes smell fresh and be clean than having to throw them back in the wash. However, Tide goes on sale very often and also releases many coupons both online and in the newspapers.

Influenster sent me a package of the new Tide Pods plus Febreze to try out. I have used Tide pods before so I knew how easy they were to pop into the washer (no measuring or mess required). I am a huge fan of these new ones with Febreze since my clothes are now smelling extra clean.

The scent added by febreze is noticeable all day long but not obnoxious. If you forget to wear perfume it is no big deal because when you walk by someone they can definitely smell the Febreze but do not worry you do not smell like bathroom spray!

I love this product and will continue to use it. If you are already a Tide Pod lover than you will love this product. If you are not than I am sure you will love how clean your clothes smell compared to some other (cheaper) brands.

I received a sample to test from Influenster but all opinions are my own. If you would like to check out what Influenster is about or sign up to receive free products to test out yourself: influenster.com

Dial Sugar Cane Hand Soap Review & GIVEAWAY!

Review:

I absolutely loved the smell of this soap! I usually love sweet or fruity scents so this line of soaps is right up my alley. Along with Sugar Cane Husk they also have Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar, Water Blossoms, and Coconut Lime verbena. I also loved the texture which is like a scrub. It definitely feels like my hands are getting super clean and that I am getting rid of the dead skin on my hands thus making my hands feel less dry!

Adore Me VIP Experience Review

AdoreMe is a lingerie website that I was introduced to from Influenster for participating in their XO Voxbox. I was able to get a really cute set for free in order to review the product and service.

I loved what I chose and not just because I got it for free. It is sexy and high quality and it is something that I would have paid for with my own money. I got the Jacquelyn Push Up Set (pictured) which is available on the site for $39.95 but you can get your first set of lingerie *your choice* for only $25 using this link.

Using the link above will sign you up for a VIP. If you sign up for the site as a VIP you always get a $10 discount than if you just purchase as a guest each time. You also get every 6th set that you purchase free.

What I love most about the VIP membership other than the great discounts is that it is always free shipping and returns. You also DO NOT have to purchase every month but if you do want to skip a month you most log into your account between the first and fifth of every month otherwise you will get charged and it will just be a store credit in your account until you want to make a purchase.

The only thing that I dislike about the membership is the cancellation policy. It says on the site that in order to cancel your membership you have to call. I really wish there was a way to just do it on the site. For me personally calling is a hassle so if I ever end up cancelling I will probably email customer service and tell them that. Other than this one improvement that they can make I really love the lingerie and the service and recommend checking them out!

Influenster Refresh VoxBox Review

I recently received a box of goodies complimentary from Influenster to review. Take a look at my unboxing video below to see what I got. Underneath the video is my review on all of the products I received. If you want me to send you an invite so you can sign up and get free products yourself please leave your email in the comments section below.

I love that this box had a mix of everything! All the items in the box I was excited to try!

1.) Beanitos Chips: $3.49 - The two flavors that came in the box were Nacho Cheese and Restaurant Style. I love that these chips are non-GMO and have no preservatives. They are also Gluten Free. I am always looking for healthier snack options. I loved the Nacho Cheese chips with Salsa. For me the Restaurant Style just needed a little bit more salt.

2.) Covergirl UltraSmooth Foundation: $12.99-$16.99 - I loved that this was a full coverage foundation and that it has Olay serum it in for a smooth finish. It also comes with an applicator to help achieve the smooth finish. The applicator feels a little weird a first (I usually use a beauty blender) but you do get used to it.

3.) L'Occitane Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream: $5 (8ml) $28(50ml)- I did love this cream though it did not last me longer than a month so I can not really elaborate on long term results. However for the short term my skin felt very soft and it kept oil at bay. This cream also has a lovely baby powder smell.

4.) Orgain Certified Organic Nutritional Shakes: $3-$4 - I was REALLY surpised at how good this shake was. I picked up the Vanilla flavor and had it after a work out. No, it did not taste like a fribble but it had a slight sweet milk taste and even though it was not frozen it did have somewhat of a shake texture. I enjoyed it!

5.) Montagne Jeunesse Face Masques: $1.49 - I tried the Manuka Honey Peel Off masque and they were not kidding it has a very strong Honey Smell. I loved how clean my face felt after using the mask. I used it for the suggested time on the package but next time I would keep it on longer. It was not completely dry on my cheeks and therefore was hard to peel off there. See my detailed blog post for more information.

6.) Skinnygirl Tasty Nutrtion Bar: 5 for $5 - I can not tell you how much I loved the Chocolate Peanut Butter with Sea Salt flavor and will for sure be picking more up.

7.) Listerine Pocketpaks: $1.40 - These paks are so small they will fit anywhere even in a really small pocket. These work wonders at keeping your breath fresh and you can easily sneak one as they melt in your mouth fast!

8.) Dentek Fun Flossers/Dentek Comfort Clean Floss Picks: $1.39-$3.39- I preferred the Comfort Clean Floss picks only because I felt that the Fun flossers did not have enough room to floss well. I did like the flavors the fun flossers had though. I loved how well the Comfort Clean picks clean between my teeth!

I was very happy with the products in this box. Of course I loved some products more than others but I did not dislike any products in this box. I would use all of these products again.

If you have any further questions on any of the products listed above feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will do my best to answer them. Once again, if you want to sign up for Influenster to get free boxes leave your email below and I will send you an invite.

Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off Review

I received a Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel off mask in the Refresh VoxBox from Influenster. This was my first time trying a peel off mask and I loved how easy it was to use and peel off!

The mask comes in a packet and is a thick oily texture. You rub the whole amount contained in the package over your face. Make sure to spread evenly! In 15-20 minutes you can peel the mask right off!

I personally loved the smell of this mask but the Honey smell does linger for hours after peeling off the mask so be forewarned! My face feels super smooth and my pores feel like they can actually breathe! I left the mask on 17 minutes. It was easy to pull off of most of my face but for some reason it was not enough time to dry on my cheeks so it was most difficult to take off there. Next time I would leave it on 20-25 minutes. Be careful not to get the mask too close to your hair line because it does hurt taking it off if you get a little up there!

If you are allergic to bees or just do not like the smell of Honey the #MJPeelOffs come in a lot of different varieties. Check out the Montagne Jeunesse website to see all they have to offer! You can also check them out online on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
